Story Delivery Process

Each step in the process has a pre-stage, active stage, and post-stage. This allows us to better measure lead times and uncover bottlenecks. How much time is a story idle in a pre/post-stage? Being able to see the difference between work sitting idle and being actively worked is powerful in optimizing our system. If there is a build up of stories in a pre-stage, the active stage is a bottleneck slowing down all stages before it.
